2009 O&WRHS Chapter Meetings & Rail Related Events

Meetings are the first Friday the month, except September which is held on the Friday after Labor Day.
There are no meetings in July or August and November is replaced by our Annual Banquet.

All Meetings Start at 7:30 PM  - Presentations are subject to change.

Any meeting cancellations due to weather will be posted here and/or on the O&WRHS Yahoo Group.

William Jenack Auctioneers in Chester New York will be holding the first of possibly several auctions on Saturday, March 27th which will include items from the collection of the late James Parrella.

    Jim's main focus was on the O&W, and this sale will include many rare lanterns, locks and keys and other items from the O&W , Delaware & Northern, Delaware & Eastern, D&H Canal Co., and the D&H Company, to name a few.

Preview for the sale will be held from from Wed. March 24th until Friday March 26th, 2010, 12 pm - 5 pm. Preview will be on Saturday March 27th, Sale Day-  from 9am until 10:45. The Sale starts at 11:00 am. We take calls and e-mails of condition reports. All of the technical info is available at http://www.jenack.com/ including how to bid through live auctioneers.  There are approximately 100 lots from the Jim Parrella collection, this is just a sampling. Sunday, May 2, 2010 5th Annual Franklin Model & Toy Train Show  9am to 3pm sponsored by the Franklin Historical Society and the Sussex County RR Club to be held 9A - 3P at the Littell Community Center near the intersection of Rt. 23 and Rt. 517, Franklin, NJ.  Info was available from John at 973-697-6539
